Honduran cigar

Wiki · Terms · Honduran cigar

Honduras is the third leg of the usual Central American stool, next to Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. Danlí is the factory town Americans hear first. A Honduran cigar may be a local puro or a blend with foreign wrapper. Corojo seed has a long Honduran chapter.

The country took in production when Nicaraguan and other factories were disrupted in the 1970s and 1980s. Some of that was temporary; some houses stayed. This page does not invent a ranking against Estelí or Santiago.

If the band says Honduras, that is the factory floor. If it also says the farms, believe the farms.
