Cameroon wrapper is cover leaf grown in Cameroon (and, in the trade’s longer memory, nearby African zones). Smokers look for a toothy surface — small pits in the face of the leaf — and a reddish-brown colorado range. Those are common traits, not a guarantee on every hand.
The leaf is prized as wrapper, not as bulk filler. Supply has always been tighter than Connecticut or Ecuador, which is why it tends to show up on specific lines rather than on everything a house makes.
